It is easy to overlook a patient's cultural background and the effect it can have on treatment. Very informative. All of my Hispanic/Latino pts have spoke English but often their family members do not. Will consider la familia is the future.

Wonderful course full of useful information. Having patients talk about the issues really hit home and helped cement some of the key points.

Though the videos kept stopping at intervals, this couse should be obligatory for all those involved in health care . Excellent content and I loved the intermittent way the course was presented.

This course was applicable to a broader population than just cancer patients. A good video for all healthcare providers to watch especially if you do not work with minority populations on a daily basis. A big thank you to the cancer survivors and their families for their bravery and sharing their very personal experiences.

I was researching the Hispanic/Latio culture for my culture awareness class project and watched all the YouTube videos. I live in Northern Michigan and our oncology clinic has not treated anyone from this culture group. This was a great learning exercise. Thank you.

I don't see many Hispanic/Latino patients in my rural area but I'm so grateful to know more about the culture so I can help them better. Watching this video made me want to be a promotora so I could better advocate for these patients and get them the care and treatment that they deserve.

It was a very good reminder of how different people see respect and nonverbal communication.

This video is a true reflection of the problems hispanic patients have in getting medical care. I am happy to have partaken in this video and know that both nurses and patients will benefit greatly from the production of this video. Hats off to the producers and NOEP for having the vision to make this video. Thanks to all who participated and to Shirley, Mat, Aaron and Guadalupe.

The information is accurate and true to that of the Latino community. I can identify as I see this everyday in my family. I plan to distribute the provided resource page to my Hispanic patients.
