Has anyone proofread this content? Lots of redundancy and strange markings. I agree with previous reviewers that audio =/or visual additions would have made this more interesting.

The info was helpful in educating myself and family. Would have been better with video or sound.

The information presented in this course was very helpful and included relevant research. However, it was thick and slow to trudge through. Additionally, some of the information per page was duplicated at the end of the page. Graphics, slides, or video would have made the material more digestable.

The strength of this learning object is the accurate & detailed information on the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of all stages of ovarian cancer at an understandable level for nurses & midwives.

Material is congruent with an generalized, evidence based approach. In particular I found the discussion on the relative benefits of IV vs IP therapy and the concept of platinum sensitivity to ongoing magament and prognosis very intersting.

As detected by other reviewer, there are a number of repeated sentences on some pages which does detract form the precision and veracity of the information. - a simple fix with much to gain.

Could be used in combination with the video resource in a discussion on timely provision of information and communication with women with all stages of ovarian cancer.

Very informative and easy to understand. However, it would have been better if there had been audiovisual aids. Also, there were a few slides that contained repetitive information - the exact same paragraphs repeated.

Excellent incorporation of patient stories with educational information. Brings the point home.
Only negative thing for me was the people speaking (both educator and patient) were not looking straight ahead as though they were speaking to the viewer of the video. It was always off to their right.

Very good overview for nurses. Directed to useful information for nurses enabled better interaction for nurses in general practice and oncology practice. I actually liked the written format better than the slide/lecture format. There were a few text errors (repeated phrases or sentences). The glossary was helpful. The crossword puzzle fun. The response to a correct answer was entertaining (I learned a new word and how to spell it- I think - "correctomundo")! Thanks for the smile!

This course rocks! Not only is it very useful in oncology nursing but it's also useful as overall nursing info. Information about ovarian CA should be disseminated so it could be included in the differential diagnosis of nonspecific symptoms such as abdominal bloating, etc. Perhaps, if more nurses are aware of this, we could increase the chances of ovarian cancer being diagnosed at an earlier stage, hopefully, prior to mets. This course is very easy to comprehend and is appropriately organized. Thank you, NOEP, for this CEU offering.

I found this material very interesting. I've always had knowledge regarding this cancer, but not to this extent. I appreciate the education regarding the types of chemotherapy, the response factors, and the ability to recognize early s/s based upon a thorough assessment. This cancer is devastating as it is mainly advanced when diagnosed. If I can make a difference in even just one life by identifying s/s of early onset...that would be fantastic! I have been lucky to have had a variety of nursing experiences over the years and am able to implement this education into all aspects of nursing fields in one way or another. This information has helped me gain insight into the importance of familial history. Not that I've ever discarded this information, it just appears to be much more relevant in being able to utilize referral systems to genetic counseling if specific information is present. This in turn may present an opportunity to catch this cancer early enough in many patients who otherwise may have gone undeteted. I am very proactive in community education and will definitely share my knowledge of this material with others.

I found this course interesting not only for my professional use but for my personal use/knowledge as well.
I am in a multitude of settings in my career Ie: Teaching, CNA education, State Certification observer, and PRN Surgical nurse.
I do not do much Post Surgical care anymore but I like to keep updated and fluent in all aspects of my care.
I feel this coarse is a little detailed for the normal nurse such as myself. I wish that there was more on the pt care, symptoms etc rather than the dx testing or pharmacological area of treatment due to the Dr generates this portion. Over all it took me a little longer than 2 hours for 1.3 contact hours. I feel it's a little long. But I read and reread so I would learn and remember......not just for the CEU's.
But overall very informative coarse.

Good information that is especially important for all women to know, and free CEUs are always appreciated. Not the easiest website to navigate through for people who are not the most tech savvy like me. Another issue is that the information on at least 3 - 4 pages is repeated exactly from one paragraph to the one below (editing would improve this course).
