To help nurses working in primary care settings update their knowledge of cancer survivorship, specifically as related to the late effects associated with cancer and its treatment.
The objective of this education activity is:
- Define cancer survivor.

- Identify general late effects of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.
- Discuss specific effects on body systems.
- Discuss psychosocial issues.
