NOEP seeks a Program Director!

NOEP is seeking a Program Director to direct statewide and national cancer education programs for nurses. The Program Director will be responsible for managing the program, including providing financial and administrative oversight, and for fulfilling contractual obligations to the program’s funding agents.

Working closely with the staff, the Program Director is responsible for creating and implementing strategies to successfully achieve the goals of NOEP as they relate to the Strategic Plan, Texas Cancer Plan and designated statewide communities. A critical part of creation and implementation will be identifying and cultivating strategic partners, community leaders, and program participants.

Job Requirements 

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, Master’s Degree, and at least two years of program or project management experience is required. 

We are seeking a self-starter with strong communication, organizational, and management skills as well as experience writing grants and managing grant-funded programs. 

MSN, OCN, and experience managing, evaluating and organizing professional education programs and activities preferred.

The Nurse Oncology Education Program (NOEP) is a nonprofit project of the Texas Nurses Foundation that provides evidence-based continuing education to nurses on cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship. Our goal is to educate all nurses to create changes in nursing practice. We partner with expert nurse clinicians and faculty from leading academic institutions to develop cutting edge programs, and conduct post-education evaluation and outcome measurement follow up to ensure those programs are effective.
